Rob and Joe Martin, brothers, have been camping with family in the autumn of 2014 upward at Ludington State Park in Michigan.   Joe had brought up his mountain bike and an additional, Rob had his non end mountain bike from a major chain store.   While drifting around the world, Rob attempted this tiny hill off the road and pulled the brakes to slow down along with his bike rotated to the right while the handlebars remained straight.   Fortunately only the bicycle was broken.   Therefore Joe thought, hey, you may use the excess bicycle I brought up and we can go check out some paths!   They headed for the trails and had a great time, that MTB material was fun.   So Rob went back, bought a great bike from his local bike shop, Rock-N-Road, and Joe had said that there was this cool race in Traverse City known as ICEMAN!   Not actually knowing what they were getting into, they both managed to get a transfer into the race and experienced the worst riding conditions experienced by any human being, almost to the point of them both saying this game sucks!   They continued riding once they could during winter, and coached a little bit this time for an upcoming season of MTB racing in Michigan, the MMBA Championship series!    So that the idea came after several thoughts, as both of them always have creations running through their minds.  One day they had been riding their mountain bikes at Owasippe, which can be situated from the Blue Lake Fine Arts Camp, and either before or after the ride the thought had been sprung for urbikelife.   They still love to ride bikes, have multiple bicycles each for different terrain, and then keep to race and ride with other people who love the bicycle life!   They felt the need to state what their bicycle life consisted of, and you can also.

Rob is a CSCS, Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist through the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) with a background in distance running, basketball, and newly mountain biking.  He had the opportunity to work with the Chicago Bulls and Eastern Michigan University, but did not pursue either as household time was more important than spending it off.  He has worked with athletes in many different sports and in all levels, from grade school, to high school, to college, as well as pro.   Rob has studied what functions for MTB training on his body, and has used it to perform very well in a brief time.  The programs he has designed cover races that are under 40 miles, optimally they are between 15-35 miles.   In addition, he has put together 100 mile endurance programs, be certain to check them out by clicking the MTB Training Programs on the right side bar!   Still the ideal strategy is personalized training which is also available, take your time to the next level!
